General overview of test sites at Malå area

Lapice Proving Ground Airport

At the old Airport proving ground we´re using the landing field 700 meter by 40 meter and four snow tracks courses, length from 1200 to 1700 meters (track 1-4) and a width of 6-8 meters. The track (4) is located on a small lake in the North West part of the proving ground. Track 3 has elevation designed into the track.

Lapice equipment

Lapice already have the necessary equipment to make perfect test condition in the different test areas. Important is the Ice-radar thickness measurement that makes it possible to start testing on lake as early as possible without risk for to thin ice.
